QC-Sync The same ticket/record created multiple times in both systems

Recently we started experiencing a serious issue when the same ticket/record was created large amount of times every sync. duplicates are showing up in BOTH endpoints.
Over a course of two days it was created almost 700 times in both systems.

What could be happening?

Has someone been deleting and re-creating the link in QC-sync?

Do you have more than one QC-Sync server with possibly the same link (same endpoints) on them?

That was it! I just heard that someone DUPLICATED/Cloned out QC-sync Server VM and when it started up, the QC-Synchronizer and automated sync's were running! So, unbeknownst to me, we DID have multiple Sync servers running with the same link.
