QTP Result Viewer crash

QTP Result Viewer crashes every time I open it, whether from within QTP or from the stand alone. No error message is given. I can also not get QTP to generate product information. QTP is installed on a VirtualBox 4 VM with 4 GB RAM Any ideas?

I had that happen running on a VirtualBox VM. There was an update to VB4.1.20 that I accepted. This version has 3D acceleration capabilities and apparently there is some issue with the drivers that it installs (see [this article][1] and search on wined3dwddm-x86.dll to find what clued me in on what the problem was. I found an error mentioning wined3dwddm-x86.dll in the event viewer.) Try unchecking the 3D Acceleration setting and restart the VM.
