QTP11 – Unable to select controls using Web extensibility

The issue is seen with just with one machine so far for Web Extensibility 11.0 with QTP11. From Map to Controls page when attempting to do a select controls the tool wasn't highlighting the objects to help select controls. As per the instructions in help documentation, the web extensibility project was opened before attempting select controls.

I would check to see if the BHOManager Add on in IE is enabled. BHO manager allows QTP to interact with IE window and perform operations inside it. To check the status of the same, open a new IE window and go to Tools->Manage Add-ons...In case the BHOManager Class Add-on is disabled, enabled it and close all open IE windows. Marked as spam
