I came across an article which said that Microsoft is replacing IE with a new browser in Windows 10. What is HP’s plan to allow UFT to continue with scripts that have traditionally been created in IE and retain the use of existing sets of test scripts?

HP has an Enhancement Request ([QCCR1J79427][1]) for support of Spartan Browser. They are reviewing this issue and should be releasing more information about it. Recommend if you want to get notified when an HP Enhancement request are updated, then sign up to have HP email you directly email when the HP Enhancement Request has changed. You may check the status of this request at any time by visiting* [https://softwaresupport.hpe.com/group/softwaresupport/search-result/-/facetsearch/document/LID/QCCR1J79427][2]
and get emails by clicking on the link ''E-mail me when this enhancement request is updated or resolved''.

UPDATE:

Starting with UFT version 12.51 with Patch 1 Edge browser is supported. However, it is listed at ''Tech Preview'' (see HPE document KM00363540 for definition). As of the making this note UFT 12.54 is still listing at ''Tech Preview''. HPE has release the following documents on Edge for more information:
