Try this:
1. Mobile Labs deviceConnect: Upload your mobile application under test package file, which will either be an .ipa or .apk file, to deviceConnect by using the upload button on the Applications page (note: only Admin users may upload applications to deviceConnect).
2. Install the Mobile Labs Trust software on your testing system. Note: if you install UFT *after* you install the Trust software, be sure to run a Repair from Windows Control Panel on the Trust software so that it may register its dlls as a UFT add-in.
3. Launch UFT and enable/check the ''Mobile Labs Add-in'' from the Add-in Manager.
4. Using the application that you uploaded, connect to any device. On the Launch Application dialog, be sure to enable/check the ''Launch application with Mobile Labs Trust'' option.
5. Don't be concerned with the instrumentation of the applications; this is done through deviceConnect when connecting to a device using any application.
6. Towards the bottom of the Mobile Labs deviceConnect web interface, click on the ''About deviceConnect'' link. Double-check you have an Automation-enabled deviceConnect license.
Hope this helps!
