Shared Object repository saving Error

When saving shared object repository, we are getting an error **’A general failure occurred when attempting to save the object repository file**’ on UFT 12.53 using Web, WPF and Silverlight addins.

This is a known issue,with only a workaround as of now. The workaround is: 1. Export the OR to XML. (Object Repository Manager > File > Export to XML) Open a support case if the OR gets corrupted again, noting the steps performed that got the OR into the corrupted state.
