Slow down UFT test runs from ALM

When our test runs from ALM, it apparently runs too quickly and some data is not being populated in our application’s fields properly. This doesn’t happen when running from normal mode, straight from UFT. Is there a way to get UFT to run in Normal mode rather than Fast mode when run from ALM?

There are 2 things you can try to help adjust the timing.

-In bin folder there is a mic.ini file. Edit this file and in the [RemoteAgent] section, change (or add)

RunInFastMode=0

-In 'UFT Tools>Options>GUI Testing>Test Runs' change the 'Delay each step execution by # milliseconds' and adjust as needed to slow the run down so the date will populate properly.

This should help you slow down UFT execution so the data will populate.
