UAC being off is getting to be the standard now for many HP applications. Does Sprinter have the same requirement as other HP apps?

Hello,

Officially, as of version 12.50, they have added that UAC must be disabled during installation of Sprinter. And also have put in the install instructions to make sure you are logged in on to your computer with Administrative privileges.

Earlier versions of Sprinter do not spell out these conditions for install, but in my testing, I have found both to be a requirement for a properly working instance of Sprinter. A large number of issues are ''fixed'' or removed from occurring when Sprinter is installed with those 2 conditions in place.

Thanks, that's good information to keep in mind for users with restricted permissions.
