Trouble uploading LoadRunner scripts using ALM-PC 11?

I need to upload scripts to performance center 11. All my scripts share (point to) a data folder where data files are shared between scripts. My data files are in a separate location outside the each script folder location. How can I upload both scripts and data folder (or data files) where the file structure can remain the same.? Any help or suggestions would be great.

Technically no you cannot have a centralized data file for many scripts. Since your data files are in a separate location outside of each script folder, there are three possible options. Please see below.

Option 1.

1. In Load Runner, Select ''File'' and ''Add Files to Script'' you can add the appropriate data file to each
script. Copy Central file to each of the Vugen Scripts and Each Script will start at a different row number set by the tester in the parameter dialog box.

Script A = Start at line 1
Script B = Start at line 101
Script C = Start at line 201
Etc.. This particularly important for unique values IE Vusers, User Names.

Option 2.

2. Create 1 master parameter.dat file for each script and then point all your parameters to one master parameter.dat file. Each Column will represent a Parameter

Option 3.

3. Use the Vugen default method of Parameter.dat file creation as needed. Specifically 1 dat file per
parameter
