Per HPE: ''TruClient Electors work differently than UFT/QTP. While TruClient Electors use elements attributes to identify an element, they do not involve the user in the object identification and have a completely different algorithm to scan the document and assess whether the identified element is the recorded one.
TruClient Descriptors are much closer to the QTP/UFT approach but the implementation is different.''
