Noticed some values in TestLab for group permissions are no longer able to be expanded to have any options set. Clicking on the plus sign does nothing. This is for QC11.52. You can expand the Update folder for QC11.0.

Steps to recreate:

1. Steps to recreate
2. Log into project
3. Select Tools>Customize
4. Select Groups and Permissions
5. Select a custom group (not a default QC group)
6. Select permissions tab on right
7. Select the TestLab module
8. Select Results
9. Select the Update folder
10. Attempt to expand

Here is a direct reply for this issue from HP:

The permissions for the RES_NAME and RES_DESCRIPTION were removed because the fields are not customizable. You can see this by querying the project database as follows.

select SF_COLUMN_NAME,SF_IS_CUSTOMIZABLE from td.SYSTEM_FIELD where SF_TABLE_NAME='results'

These two fields are not visible, this is the reason the update folder can't be expanded. This is by design and it will not affect the function.

This change between ALM 11.0 and 11.5 was determined to be a defect which was fixed so the RES_NAME and RES_DESCRIPTION are no longer visible in the group permissions.

The name and description can be displayed was a defect in the old version and it was fixed in the ALM 11.52. The default value of SF_IS_CUSTOMIZABLE for them are N.

Ah, ok then. Sounds to be expected behavior.
