When attempting to login to Site Admin this week, I get errors which prevents it from loading.

Everything worked fine last week, and as far as I know nothing as changed on the server side.

Errors:

Following client components were not downloaded successfully:

1 . SiteAdmin.ocx :
(Error 32) The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
Failed to open file for writing

2 . SiteAdmin.ocx :
Cannot load type library

3 . SiteAdmin.ocx :
(Error 1008) An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist.
Cannot register type library

Close all connections to Server and try again.

Typically the ''being used by another process'' tends to point to a prior version being cached and not reset.

Suggest first cleaning out your IE cache. See if that helps.

If continues, try deleting your TD_80 folder located in the Temp directory. That should be recreated upon next login attempt.

Worse case, if issue persists, use the ALM Uninstaller to remove the Site Admin client files and try a new download. Be sure to run IE 32 bit as admin and watch out for UAC if this is windows 7 machine.

Cleaning the cache corrected the issue and let site admin load. Thank you.
