When I run a test remotely from QC I get following error message.

"The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password."

When I login in to the desktop remotely, I successfully connect and the script runs. I need to be able to run the scripts on numerous machines. How do we resolve the above error?

For QTP to do testing on a remote system, the system must have a user logged in so that the remote agent can run. The QTP remote Agent can not run without a user logged in to the machine. When you ran the Remote Desktop (RDP), the remote agent could process the test.

Also, have you marked the ''Allow other HP products to run...'' option within QTP on both host machines? This is done by going to QTP Main Menu Tools > Options > Run and then place check in the box labeled 'Allow other HP products to run tests and components'
