Unable to start HP synchronizer service

Currently we are unable to start the synchronizer service on our HP synchronizer server, when we try and stop the service we get the error: "The HP Application LifeCycle Management Synchronizer service on Local Computers Started and then stopped" If we look in the Event Viewer in windows we see the error: "The LoadLibrary function failed for the following reason: The specified module could not be found." What could be causing this?
