Few users are getting “Unable to connect to ALM server” error while connecting to the server from excel add-in to import test cases.

we tried uninstalling and installing it and also changed browser settings, but nothing is working.

version of Excel was 64

Do these users experiencing the error/issue have administrator rights on their local desktops?

If yes, the users have admin rights then, the add-in that had been installed was the wrong add-in as the x86 (32 bit) add-in had been installed and their version of Excel was 64 bit and required the x64 version.  Uninstalled the x86 version and installed the correct x64 version and all is working as expected.
