Why is the size of the WplousLog in LoadRunner 12.02 is almost 20GB?

We have recently upgraded from LoadRunner 12.01 to LoadRunner 12.02 and over the last two months have noticed the size of the WplusLog XXXXX.log that sits in the :\\\\data folder. This was never an issue until recently I noticed that the directory I usually script in approaches the limit of about 20GB. The Log file takes ups 10GB of that and it would indicate that something is causing the log file to increase in size. Our team has never seen this before. I can’t find much online about the file; what it is or how to stop logging to it. Any input would be great.

Check if the setting in the Ports section of the Recording Options is set to Advanced Debug. If the setting is set to Advanced Debug, this would explain the large log file. Change this setting to standard debug and the log file will go away and the scripts will return to an average of 20 MB instead of 20GB.
