We are going to be cloning the QC v11 server to VM. The db is separate on Oracle and wont be touched. Is there anything special that needs to be done? We are under the impression that we clone it, turn off the original and bring up the new VM.

WE have a NEW DB server and QC server and plan to upgrade QC11 to 12.2 on the new servers. We want to migrate our old ALM server data to the new server. What are the db and repository that I need to migrate over? I currently have moved project back ups over to the new server.

We are currently on QC/ALM v11, with HPUX server and Oracle database. We see that Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 database are supported/recommended for v12.2. Since we will need to get off of HPUX anyway, we plan to use Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 for our new AC/ALM12.20 load. ...

I have tried everything to get ALM Robot to run to no avail. I am unable to get past the validation screen. I am getting a System configuration issue on the host on the Source and Destination server connections.
