Upgrading from v9.0 to v11.52

We have acquired another company that is using still on QC v9.0.
Can we upgrade those projects to v11.52 or do we just need to leave it running on the old servers?

I would recommend upgrading.

Unfortunately you will not be able to upgrade directly to v11.52. You will first need to upgrade to v10 and then upgrade the v10 to v11.52.
You will need to apply the latest patch to each version before upgrading to the next.
