ALM synchronizer FAILED_TO_READ_EP_ENTITY_TYPES

I installed the latest synchronizer for 12.60 Patch 1 for use with Jira v7.12.1. Synchronizer passes the initial connection check but it goes a little further and is unable to read the schema ERROR #1- server.link.FAILED_TO_READ_EP_ENTITY_TYPES : Failed to read endpoint entity types list. Private answer
Usually when you can initially connect but not get the entity schemas it is a permissions issue on the Jira side. I would give the Jira user that you are using in synchronizer FULL admin permissions globally and at the project level in Jira and try again. Marked as spam
