Could someone explain the AutoPass License Server for ALM license management – License Pool Management identifiers? (User Name, IP Address, Host Id, Client Id)

User Name is normally the Windows user name, but this feature does NOT currently work with ALM license management IP Address is the IP address of the client machine connecting to the AutoPass License Server attempting to obtain a license. This feature (IP Address) and Client Id are the only features that work with ALM license management. Host Id is normally the computer/host name of the client machine, but this feature does NOT currently work with ALM license management Client Id is where you may enter a User with the value DOMAIN/Project (ALM domain exact name/ALM project exact name) to create a project-based license pool Marked as spam
