We’re planning our LoadRunner 2023 installation and Security team wants us to set up LREnterprise server in the test domain, and have the file repository and DB in the primary domain.
How can we set up this configuration?

Unfortunately, I regret to say your outlined configuration is not supported.
Obviously, all 3 components in the same domain will always work.

Domain System
CORP DataBase server
CORP LoadRunner Repository
TEST LoadRunner Enterprise server

won't work as intended.

What will work is keeping the repository in the same domain as the LREnterprise server.
So, this Will work:

Domain System
CORP DataBase server
TEST LoadRunner Repository
TEST LoadRunner Enterprise server

Of course, this requires extra setup to ensure that all the necessary communications travel to and from the DataBase and the LREnterprise Server. But with the correct user permissions and ports open between them this is a valid configuration.

I hope you find this helpful!!
Happy Testing!
