tclasp is right. Patch 25 does fix your error for Sprinter 11.52. Version 12.01 and 12.20 of Sprinter have the fix built in for that error (typically ldap associated).

And tclasp is accurate on the version of ALM supported. Must be on patch 12 for ALM 11.0.

Unspecified error I have seen come up for when locked down policy rights were involved with Sprinter installs. Though not mentioned by HP in the install guide for Sprinter, I have seen issues like ''unspecified error'' go away with an uninstall of Sprinter (and any patches), then to turn off UAC and then reinstall with an admin user account.

If UFT 11.52 is on the same machine, don't have it running (agent either) when running Sprinter. The two apps use many of the same files for client and can cause issue if both are running. Depending on the install order, you might need to do a repair on the other app. Meaning if you had UFT installed first, then installed Sprinter after, you might need to go and run a repair on UFT. And vice versa is Sprinter was installed first.

According to the [Sprinter Product Availability Matrix][1] you must have at least patch 12 for ALM 11.0 to be compatible with Sprinter v11.52, and they recommend that you actually have the newest ALM 11.0 patch installed. The newest patch for ALM 11.0 is patch 19.

I assume that for ''patch 25'' you are referring to Sprinter 11.52 patch 25.

I'm going to make another assumption that when you said ''patch 9'' maybe you were referring to Patch 9 for ALM 11.0. If that is true, then you are working in an unsupported environment. As I mentioned in my first paragraph, you need to have at least Patch 12 for ALM 11.0.

I hope this provides an answer to your question.

Please clarify your question.

To which product does patch 25 apply?

To which product does patch 9 apply?

Your post is tagged ''sprinter 11.52''. What version and patch level of ALM/QC are you using?
