tclasp is right. Patch 25 does fix your error for Sprinter 11.52. Version 12.01 and 12.20 of Sprinter have the fix built in for that error (typically ldap associated).
And tclasp is accurate on the version of ALM supported. Must be on patch 12 for ALM 11.0.
Unspecified error I have seen come up for when locked down policy rights were involved with Sprinter installs. Though not mentioned by HP in the install guide for Sprinter, I have seen issues like ''unspecified error'' go away with an uninstall of Sprinter (and any patches), then to turn off UAC and then reinstall with an admin user account.
If UFT 11.52 is on the same machine, don't have it running (agent either) when running Sprinter. The two apps use many of the same files for client and can cause issue if both are running. Depending on the install order, you might need to do a repair on the other app. Meaning if you had UFT installed first, then installed Sprinter after, you might need to go and run a repair on UFT. And vice versa is Sprinter was installed first.
