Can’t update Entity with Excel in ALM?

Hello, We have upgraded to ALM 15.0x and we found that we can no longer update the entities in ALM using Excel when the “by Owner Only” permissions is selected for the projects. If we disable this everything works as expected, but once we enable it the owner nor anyone else (the expected behavior for others) can update the entities. We use this for certain requirements and to insure the right people are updating them but this is not working. How do we get around this??

Hello HomerJ, Unfortunately there is no workaround at this time. The R&D department is aware of the issue but at this time they are working on resolving this issue. However the only way to update them is to Uncheck that "By Owner Only" permission as you have already found. They are currently addressing the issue but there us no current resolution other than to uncheck that permissions option.
