If we create a new parameter in an existing BPT component, and check the box to have it automatically promoted to tests, it suffixes the parameter name with the component suffix. Since we are not adding the component to the test, just adding a variable to an existing component, we don’t have the "promotion options" window available. Is there any way to turn off the automatic addition of the suffix to the parameter name?
