Hello. Our previous support person has left the company, and our users are receiving the error “503 – Problem accessing /qcbin/. Reason: Service Unavailable”. We have tried restarting the ALM service, but that did not resolve the issue. I checked the wrapper logs, and I found the message “Failed to obtain a connection to schema ‘qcsiteadmin_db’”. Our ALM is running on the same admin account, so I do not think that is causing this issue.

Hello. If you are using the same account and credentials as the previous user, then I recommend that you check with your DBA to see if any changes have occurred in the ALM Site Admin database. In most cases, an expired password or password change causes this issue to occur. If you find that the password has expired, then I recommend that you have the DBA set the password so that it never expires. Going forward, this will prevent this issue from reoccurring.

I found that the password had expired. After resetting the password, the users are now able to gain access to ALM. Thanks for your help!
