In LR 2020 when I replay my script I am getting “HttpSendRequest” failed, Windows error code=12002

I am using:

  • VuGen 2020
  • Web(http/html) protocol
  • replay in WinINet mode

 

How do I fix this errror?

hello,

This is a known issue that can be resolved by changing the default timeout setting for the WinInet replay engine.

In the Registry Editor, open HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInternet Settings, and change the default time (30 seconds) to 180 seconds for both these:

"SendTimeOut"=dword:0002bf20

"ReceiveTimeOut"=dword:0002bf20
