Lab Project Missing in ALM 11.52 installation?

Hi all,
Just recently installed ALM 11.52 and during the installation we had an issue that stopped the installlation and generated an error regarding the SA schema couldn’t be upgraded/ installed. We re-ran the installation and were able to get it installed but now when we try to create a project, we get the error that no PC lab project exists and we must create one to continue.

How do we do this?

Thanks

Hello,
I have seen this once before and the issue was that the installation db user did not have the correct permissions assigned so that the lab_management project was not created. This is found within the Lab Management tab within site admin and if it is blank then this is more than likely your issue as well. I would try to make sure that the recommended permissions from the user guide for your particular database in use are assigned to the installation user. I hope this helps with the situation? You should be able to then re-run the config wizard but you may want to just uninstall everything and start fresh.

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks we were missing one permission/ credential being assigned to out td_qcadmin user . The dba assigned that permission and then we re-ran the installation and it completed without error this time and the lab maanagement db project was created and installed. We can now add projects without error.
