Ordering Test Lab Folders
Question ID: 107256

I’m new to this forum – so I hope I’m not repeating a question.
We have QC 12.21.
The question is about ordering folders in Test Lab (under the Root).
I added a number field to Test Set -> User Fields by the name MyOrder so the user will be able to order but this field through the View Order option.
The problem is the field does not show on the Test Lab Window. It only appears the the Filter window.
I think this is a bug.
Did anyone encounter such a problem?
Thank you,

If want a field to appear in the test lab execution grid view, the UDF would have to be added to the Test Instance User Fields area as a UDF there.

Adding a UDF to the Test Set > User Fields would only have this UDF present in the Test Set details only and that is not what the execution grid columns under Test Lab show.

See below pics to illustrate what I mean.

If I am incorrect in what you are wanting, please let me know.

And here is the execution grid view, where I used the Select Columns menu button to add the UDF ''My Order'' to the view.
