Quality Center is not working

We are having issue with Quality Centersince today morning:
(1) It has been observed that ‘HP Application LifeCycle Management’ service was stopped on the server.
(2) We restarted the service. Thoughwe can see that the service is in ‘Running’ statebutthere is an error mark on the icon for this service on the task bar.

Error we can see on our Browser while loading URL is

Server on ‘xxxxxxx’ has entered an unstable state, please contact your site administrator.

status=MUTED, label=QC server is muted due to unrecoverable error

Other than this where can we search for error?

What could be the reson behind this?
It was working fine till todays mornig.

Hi Malik,
Do you see any reason listed?
For example: reason=Failed to obtain a connection to schema 'qcsiteadmin_db' or reason=Java heap space, StackTrace= java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space something like that?

Also, ask your DBA to check the password for Database Administrator User Name? It may have been expired.
Usually Database Administrator User Name is ''qc_admin'' or something like that.
