Repair UFT 12 from command line

I’ve seen other posts on here for repairing QTP and UFT 11.5x from the command line rather than from the control panel. Is there a way to do that for UFT 12 too?

Yes, you can repair UFT 12 with the below steps:

**Window 7**

1. Press the 'Start' button
2. Find command prompt and right click on it.
3. Select ''Run as Administrator''.
4. A Dos Prompt will appear.
5. copy the following to the dos prompt and run.

MsiExec.exe /fm {73CD53D8-1B8E-489B-97F1-15BA7031F417}

**Windows 8/8.1**

1. From the Charms screen, start typing the word 'Command'. A list of matching programs will appear.
2. Right click 'Command Prompt'.
3. Select Run As Administrator.
4. A Dos Prompt will appear.
5. Copy the following to the dos prompt and run.

MsiExec.exe /fm {73CD53D8-1B8E-489B-97F1-15BA7031F417}
