Slow loading time of script in UFT

The issue is not with the script itself….it is with the amount of time that it is taking to load the script in to UFT from ALM. It is taking an exorbitant amount of time (> 5 mins). I only see the splash screen saying HPE is loading the script (See attached). I uninstalled UFT and re-installed and it had no effect on the performance. I experienced this exact issue a few weeks back and it seemed to resolve itself. However, it looks like it's occurring again. Any idea what might be causing this?

I have seen a similar issue before in a few cases. Are you opening scripts from ALM? I have seen where there have been long opening times when opening scripts from ALM. In a few cases, it was due to network congestion and the server being overseas which meant various delay times. Another delay issue with ALM scripts was resolved by installing the latest patch for ALM. If not using ALM, are the scripts stored on a file server that may experience heavy activity? Marked as spam
