Most likely you just are missing a setting being enabled here. Sprinter has settings and the ALM project itself will have settings. Both must be the below in place to have storyboard save for reference in run results.

Verify the below settings are in place for Sprinter and in the ALM project in use.

(Client level) Instruct Sprinter to capture all images during a test:

1. Open Sprinter
2. Don't open a Test. If a test is already open, restart Sprinter
3. Go to Settings, then access Run (or Save) section
4. Enable/Select ''Capture all images during a test'' option
5. Finally click ''OK''

(Server level) Configure ALM to save Sprinter images during a test:

1. Open ALM > Tools > Customize
2. Select ''Sprinter'' item from the list at the left
3. Ensure sure that the option ''Enable storing of all images during a test'' is enabled/selected
