Testing Silverlight on UFT One 2022 or 2023

We would like to upgrade our UFT One machines to version 2022 or 2023 but we see that Silverlight Add-in is no longer available. We have Silverlight in our application. Is there some way to continue testing this with the newer versions of UFT One?

Yes, this involves altering the registry, so please be sure to have a backup.
To enable Silverlight in UFT One versions post 2021 R1:

To enable the Silverlight add-in please follow the following steps to enable the add-in:

1. Make sure UFT is completely closed.
2. Open Registry Editor
3. Navigate to Computer/HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mercury Interactive/QuickTest Professional/MicTest/SettingInfo/AddIn Manager/WPF
4. Create a new DWORD
5. Name it EnableSilverlightAddin with Value = 1

This helps, we tested in on a VM and it worked great for us!
