Unable to Save test graph with new name in ALM 12.55?

Hello,
We are experiencing an issue since our recent upgrade to ALM 12.55 from a previous versions. We were previously able to open a graph and change the name and save as a new graph, however since the upgrade we are no longer able to perform this functionality. Is this a known issue, are we doing something wrong, or is this a bug within the system that we have discovered?

Thanks,
HomerJ

Hello HomerJ,
I am guessing that you are using the Quality Center Edition License and there is a limitation of the functionality of that license that has been appearing since ALM 12.55 version and later. It appears that no longer does this license allow for the saving as a new name during creation of a graph from a prior graph. the graph must be saved and then the name can be edited later but this is a limitation of the license edition. The Application Lifecycle Management License level allows this functionality but the lesser Quality Center license doesn't allow for this functionality any longer.

In order to determine the license version type installed see the following post: https://eyeontesting.com/questions/17940/how-do-i-find-out-the-license-edition-i-currently.html

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks. I followed the other post and we do in fact have the Quality Center edition license. We will have to try the work around or see about getting the ALM license. Thanks.
