VuGen script – Right mouse click is not correctly finding an object at the bottom of the window

A LoadRunner TruClient script is getting failures with a right mouse button click on an object that is at the bottom of the window. This exact code worked correctly in 12.63, but it is regularly failing with 2020.3 on generators. I have verified that the xpath that I am using is valid even when the object is at the bottom of the window and partly truncated which is that case when it fails. I have attempted to increase the window size using the Run time setting “Apply window size by user” to 1920×1080 after verifying the generators resolution.

What can I do to solve this problem?

Go Dawgs,

Please check the size of your screens that are trying to replay your script.

If they are different, you will need to change the X coordinate if the replaying screen is narrower than the original size of the scripting screen. The Y coordinate would need to change if the replaying screen is shorter than the original scripting screen.

I hope this helps.
