MicroFocus sent me a license for “Application Lifecycle Management Octane Portal Access for ALM-QC users Software E-LTU ” and I have no idea what this is. Can you tell me what “Application Lifecycle Management Octane Portal Access for ALM-QC users Software E-LTU ” is, and do I need it to run Quality Center (Enterprise).

So the SKU that you were asking about allows customers using license sharing with ALM Octane to open Octane cases. Octane and QC/ALM have a feature called license sharing where if you have ALM licenses you can share up to 15% of your ALM licenses with Octane. In the past, if you had Octane setup but only had ALM licenses you could only open ALM cases with Micro Focus. Also, you would not be able to download the software and updates. It is not needed if you only have ALM running. Marked as spam
