What is the purpose of the openport.bat file in LoadRunner

We are trying to setup LoadRunner 12.53 Patch 4. After installing LoadRunner,  our security team, was concerned about the file named openport.bat file that gets executed during installation.  This file resides in the LoadRunner\dat sub directory.

Does anyone know the purpose of this batch file, is it required, and what is the significance of the users in the file?

Any thoughts would be great.

This batch file open ports for the TruClient protocol for the non-admin user to connect with VuGen.

The file is required, if you are going to open VuGen with a non-admin user. The file is safe and resides in every current LoadRunner version.  I hope this helps.
