The ports that ALM uses while installing and on daily basis and should be opened in the firewall are as follows:

In the Installation guide mentions the following:

8080 default JBOSS webserver port,

80 if using IIS web services and hosting,

25 for SMTP mail services

1433 the default database port.

These are the default ports needed for a default installation. If you organization has port conflicts and reserves those ports for other applications, you can change and specify the different ports to make ALM/QC work in such instances and the installation and admin guides provide assistance and guidance in such instances. The majority of users will use the default settings in their installations.
