Error occurs when generating a report as the result of a query on the Dashboard

I have a user that has a query that works fine but when they try to use the generate function to export to Excel, they get an error.

It runs for a while and then an error “Server has been disconnected while performing PostSimleKeyEntity action”

Got any ideas on what this means? I suspect a timeout based on the QC Log but I am usually wrong.

You were correct! There is a Site Admin parameter, REPORT_QUERY_TIMEOUT, that is set to 60 seconds as the default. Please increase this to a much larger time, like 120 and see if that fixes the problem. If so, you could play with it by reducing it or just leave it alone if you like.
