Always use the following recommendations when running a load test:

1. Set the TMP and TEMP environment variables for the User and System for the root drive, without any spaces
2. Disable the anti-virus and anti-spyware that are configured to scan whenever a file is accessed
3. Ensure no system scans, Windows updates or Security updates are being performed on the Controller, Load Generator(s) or Application servers during the load test
4. Disable or stop any unnecessary applications and processes on the Controller, Load Generator(s) or Application servers during the load test
5. Ensure you have at least 50 GB of free disk on the Load Generator(s) and Controller machines
6. Reboot all Load Generators prior to the test
7. Never use the Controller as one of your Load Generators (Localhost) for your load test. This should only be used for bugging scripts with 10 Vusers or less

I highly recommend you considering having an Orasi Performance Engineer/Consultant on-site or via web meeting to mentor and assist with this testing project.
