The problem is probably that the filters that are predefined only log activity when operations take over 2 or 5 minutes so if your server is running correctly nothing will get logged.
1. In Site Admin add the site parameter *ENABLE_PERFORMANCE_MONITOR_BIRT_REPORTS* with value of Y
2. Click Tools -> QC Sense -> Configuration
3. Login
4. Right-click on the monitor(s) you want and turn them on or off
5. Add a useful filter... Click Add Data Filter -> Add User Filter
6. Add users to the monitor... In the bottom window click the user to be monitored and click start monitoring
7. Click Save and Close
8. Restart the ALM Service *** This has to be done before monitoring will start ***
9. Open the ALM client and click on some stuff (ex different modules)
10. Logout of the ALM client
11. Open the Site Admin and click Tools -> QC Sence -> Reports
12. Login
13. Click User operations reports
14. Select Parameters if needed
15. View Report
