We are using ALM-PC 12.53 patch 4. Multiple LG failures are occurring during execution. We have observed that the secondary logon service has stopped in all of the servers from a single region. There are a total of 4 LG’s in this region. The LGs from other regions are working as expected. After checking the LG services, we see that the secondary logon service is stopped. Does anyone know why Performance Center stops this service?

The Secondary Logon Service is a required service. Why the Secondary Logon Service got stopped is a windows issue and not a Performance Center issue. Performance Center does not stop any services. There can be many possible reasons as to why a service may stop. A few reasons may be the following:

Service was not set to automatic and running, and recovery options were not set to restart the service on failure
Security Team(s) may have stopped the service
Security Group Policies may interrupt the service

I recommend working with your Windows Administration team to ensure that the Secondary Logon Service properties are set correctly.
