LoadRunner Enterprise SQL Database Sever Sysadmin Privileges

Our team is getting ready to install LoadRunner Enterprise 2020 SP2.  We are planning to use SQL.  I’m being told that the sysadmin cannot have access rights to create SQL databases. If it is required, they may grant elevated privileges.  Does anyone know if this be an issue? Any help would be great.

Micro Focus states the following prerequisites for SQL:

"To connect, LoadRunner Enterprise to a Microsoft SQL database server, the installing database user must have sufficient permissions to perform certain administrative tasks in SQL.

For SQL Authentication you need to have two user accounts in the SQL database:

  • LRE database admin account: A user with "dbcreator" permissions is required
  • LRE database user account: A user with "public" permissions is required
    • If you are upgrading from a previous version, use the same user account defined in your previous version.

I hope this helps
