Microfocus ALM application migration from on-premises to Azure Cloud
version of our ALM application is 15.5.1 Patch 2, SSO authentication is enabled, and the application is configured to work with HTTPS.
The ALM application currently integrates with Excel Addin, ALM Client Launcher, UFT, Tosca, and some customized Azure DevOps Frameworks (uses REST API for extraction of ALM project data)
In terms of database servers, Oracle 18.104.22.168.0, NLS character set: AL32UTF8, and NAS filer size, it is around two terabytes.
Our ALM projects total around 1000, with the majority exceeding 4GB in size.
Migration to the cloud should be done as-is, where the ALM-related VM applications, database, and Filer should remain unchanged.
Are there any documentation or Knowledge Base articles that explain the steps required for migrating Microfocus ALM applications to Azure Cloud from an OnPremise DataCenter?
It would be helpful if you shared any critical dependencies, risks, best practices followed and lessons learned if you had already performed a similar migration.
