Commuter License for LeanFT/UFT Pro when used on a Mac?

Our UFT license is for 15 concurrent users and I know that one can create a Commuter license for someone who might be traveling and will not have access to the license server, however is it possible to create a commuter license for someone who is using LeanFT on a Mac? I’ve read through the documentation and it wasn’t very clear if this was possible or not. If this is possible can you walk me through the steps on how to make get this setup?

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the current release of LeanFT/UFT Pro. In order to create a remote commuter license, the target machine needs to generate a request file from the Functional Testing License Wizard. The problem is, this wizard is Windows only, so it is impossible to generate this request file from a Mac machine (or Linux, for that matter). This limitation is further confirmed by looking at the various license switch options shown via LeanFT/UFT Pro, which shows nothing for commuter: https://www.screencast.com/t/G7kHtw5wp2ko Your only recourse would be to fill out an Enhancement Request (ER) form to send back to Micro Focus (if you decide to do this, be sure to make a strong business case in that section).
