Do you recommend to use Microsoft SQL Server 2014 developers edition for upgrading to QC 12.50? ALM readme documents say "HP ALM is certified to work with Enterprise and Standard editions of Microsoft and Oracle databases".

We are upgrading our SQL-Server 2008 to SQL-Server 2014 in preparation for installing/upgrading to QC/ALM12.53. Are there any guidelines for the database upgrade? Do we need to do anything special with our existing databases, or do they just upgrade in MS-SQL-server automatically?
