I've been adding a snapshot to manual test executions at the step level and they are not being saved by qc. QC should save at the step level during manual test execution right?

I tried to move a test in Quality Center from one folder to another folder and got this error: Field < Subject > requires a value from the corresponding list. It won't let me move the test at all. What does this mean?

I'm using ALM 11 and I'm trying to customize the manual runner window to remove/hide some of the fields that are displayed in the Run Details section. Prior versions of HPQC did not show as many fields in the manual runner and the ones we deem important are less obvious as there are now many fields ...

I know that HP-Synchronizer makes "automatic backups" of the Postgres database every eight hours, but we want to explicitly make a full backup RIGHT NOW. How do we do that?

Does anyone know of a good free tool that would allow me to do some manual testing and capture the results? We don't use ALM, so I'm looking for some alternatives that might work.

I have told my users that it is not possible to introduce Logic into manual Test cases. For example, populating the parameters of a test case based upon the resulting parameters from a previous case. Am I correct in this assumption or are there scripting methods that would allow this? Thanks, Gary
