We added a new user defined field to the defects module but we are unable to add it to a new defects report in ALM dashboard, what gives?

When we try and access Excel Reports in ALM 12.01 we get "The specified module could not be found". The error appears when clicking on the configuration tab. We also get the same error when we try and create a new Excel report.
