How can you remove the included history that ALM sends in the defect automail??

Currently, defect emails rules are set to where an email should be sent to the individual when the Assigned and Status changes. But individuals are complaining that they are not getting emails when the defect is assigned to them.

After installing Patch 17, our defect automail is not being sent, we receive alerts automail and regular mail from QC but the defect automail is not sent..... we also see the following error in the SA logs which seems to be related: Messages: Failed to transform entity BUG #65 into XML document

I turned off the auto-email on a project yesterday, made some updates to a few Defects that I didn't want to be mailed out, then checked the Auto-email again on the project. Now, when changes are made to any defects, no emails are being sent out unless I click the Send E-mail Now button.

Trying to limit the info sent for a defect from a project to only the defect number and Severity. No ther detail. Can it be done? Auto generated email for a defect can it be downgraded to remove most of the fields, say to remove sensitive info?

We are using HP ALM for a highly secure project, which is also being used by our vendors. We would like to restrict the information that is shared in the defect emails that are sent out. We would like to leave the Description, Comments and History fields out of the emails. Is there a way to change t...
