We are setting up Test Instance for ALM to test upgrade, patches etc. We are using VMWorkstation with Win Server 2012 R2. All was fine until we tried to update the vmware tools. As soon as it was installed a reboot was performed and now the screen is black in vmworkstation console. HELP!

Can ALM 11.52 be installed on top of 11.0.0.7274 (Patch 9) ? Unfortunately installation of 11.52 on a fresh server is not an option.

Starting with a clean install of ALM 11, should I apply SP2 and then install the PC extension and its SP2, or start with ALM + PC extension and then apply SP2 to both products?

We are upgrading our Sprinter versions on users' machines. Some machines did not have a prior version of Sprinter, but many do. Upgrading to version 12.53. On machines without a prior install, we can do the regular install setup from the EN folder. However this does not seem to work for machines...

We are upgrading to ALM v12.01. In prior versions, there used to be a way to select upgrade existing schema. There is an option to update a copy of the existing schema. Is there a way to upgrade the existing schema instead of a copy? Thanks in advance.
